TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING


Please note: The owner and family live on the premises. Out of our opening hours you may not get a reply to the phone or door, as
ONLY the owner and carers are qualified to answer questions and help cat owners.

DELIVER/COLLECTING: WE ARE OPEN FOR COLLECTION AND DELIVERY 10AM TO 1PM
MONDAY TO SATURDAY. If you collect before 11am you will not be charged for that day. On Banks Holidays this does not apply.
If you wish to come early and require the chalet to be vacant on your arrival, please book the chalet an extra day at the start
of your reservation.

PAYMENT: WHEN MAKING A RESERVATION WE MAY ASK FOR A DEPOSIT. THIS IS RETURNABLE IF YOU CANCEL BEFORE 28 DAYS OF ARRIVAL.
IF YOU CANCEL WITHIN 28 DAYS OF ARRIVAL, THIS IS FORFEITED UNLESS WE CAN SELL THE DATES YOU BOOKED.
Full payment is required.
IF YOU BOOK AND RETURN EARLY WE DO NOT GIVE DISCOUNTS. WE ASK THAT YOU PAY FOR THE DATES BOOKED.


FOOD: we supply the most popular brands. Biscuits, Iams, Science Plane, Purina and Tecnical. Moist Foods, Felix, Whiskas, Sheba.

Fresh foods, chicken, fish, prawns.
All are complimentary. (We do not charge for the food listed above).
As there are so many cat foods on the market, we can not stock them all. If you would like your cat to have their favourite diet, please
bring it with you. We are happy to store and serve it at no extra cost.

MEDICATION: Cats will not be accepted who are on medication for life threatening illnesses or have been diagnosed with
infectious diseases. If your cat is ill or injured, you MUST inform us of this before arriving at the cattery to discuss it.

We only give tablets for basic treatment, if they can be crushed and put into the food. All non-specific treatments will be
administered if required to an accommodating cat. SEE BELOW.

We are not qualified or do we charge veterinary prices for looking after cats that need specialised nursing.

There is a £25 cover charge for us to take a cat to the vets.
IMPORTANT: YOU MUST CHECK THAT WE WILL BOARD YOUR CAT THAT IS ON MEDICATION. YOU MUST RING FIRST AND SEND AN EMAIL
OR NOTE FROM YOUR VET EXPLAINING EXACTLY THE ISSUES AND MEDICATION YOUR CAT IS TAKING. WE DO NOT WANT TO SPOIL YOUR HOLIDAY BY TURNING YOU AWAY
AT THE DOOR BUT WE MAY CHARGE EXTRA FOR CATS LEFT AT THE CATTERY THAT ARE ON MEDICATION.

PLEASE BE KIND TO YOUR CAT.

TOP CAT HOTEL WILL ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS, INJURY OR ILLNESS WHICH MAY DEVELOP WHILST A CAT IS IN THE CATTERY.
IF WE SUSPECT A CAT IS ILL WE WILL SEEK VETERINARY ADVISE AND CARE. THE OWNER  WILL PAY ANY ASSOCIATED
VETERINARY ACCOUNT IN FULL.

ELDERLY/OLD CATS.. WE DO NOT BOARD IF THEY HAVE NOT BOARDED WITH US BEFORE.

WINTER BOARDING: In the winter all the chalets are heated.


We pride ourselves that we are a SMALL caring cattery, putting the cats welfare before profit, therefore we do not open all day. Our clients
have told us that it was one of the reasons that they like their cats to stay with us. Many cats are very nervous of strangers, people
continually coming and going all day does upset the cats. We find that our opening time of mornings only helps the cats to settle quietly. It
is very peaceful here in the afternoons, where the cats can relax, in Peace and Tranquillity.
